This machine will make combing wool easy compared with hand combing. You may be able to spin directly after picking. Wool may have to pass through machine several times.

Machine has been developed for a wide range of fibres and to work.

If you are not happy with it for any reason please return for a full refund via paypal.

It is hand made by me.

The slide is easy to push but with very hard to do fleeces don't overload it. It is easily lifted up to get the finished wool.

The main body has a ramp to help wool enter the machine for the slide to pick up and an open lower front to allow wool to drop out or retrieved from the side while slide can go the full distance forward.

You can push slide past machine and lift up allowing fibre to drop easily.

There is a stopper at the rear of the machine so it can easily be used on a bench without sliding. A non stick rubber mat is on the base.

I recently won first place at local show with a similar machine.

You will have to screw the handle on to the slide , 4 screws supplied and holes drilled, this makes the package box more compact and less likely of damage in transit, see last photo.

All the points are stainless steel (nails) and should be respected as they can injure.

The picker will be sent with a tracking number and is ready to go from north coast of NSW.

All my tools are designed to work and not break and where possible have a wide range of uses for example the hackle that is double ended, one end single row and the other end double row.

I have been making wool handling tools for about 10 years and now I am expanding my business as i have retired from my day job. I started when my wife asked me if I could make carders for her own spinning, I did so and having excess carding cloth I made more and sold them on line. Then came drum carders and electric spinning wheels hackles and pickers.

I make from scratch all the things and use quality materials. My pickers have a unique boat shaped front to help allow fleece to drop. I also make single action pickers which may not tangle fleece as much.

I make the tools in NSW Australia and ship any where always with a tracking number.

I guarantee all things for 12 months.
